This article is for our Experts. We know we’re just starting up AcCare, but we’re hoping by now that we have a couple jobs on the marketplace for you to choose from. 

We’ve asked our Clients to try and write some good listings to avoid the back and forth time needed to clarify the scope of work. 

So how do you find the right job? You’ve taken time out of your busy lives, so it’s all about you! We’ve got 3 easy steps to help! 

#1 Defining & Clarifying the scope of work 

Sometimes clients know what they want, but don’t know exactly what it entails. Feel free to hop onto our chat to connect with the client and define the scope of work before you place any bids. 

#2 Renumeration

We’re try to ensure that our Experts are being paid fairly and we’ve provided some rough guidelines (here-link hiring for experts) about how long each task will take. 

If you think that the suggested time/budget is not enough for the task that you’re interested in, have a chat with the Client and see where it goes! 

#3 Getting to know your client

This step is totally optional! 

We encourage communication over AcCare’s secure chat, and also encourage clients to reach out to Experts with questions prior to accepting any bids. 

Clients may ask you questions about your experience or your qualifications- don’t be alarmed! Clients just want to be reassured that they’re doing business with those they know and trust. 


The AcCare promise: 

We are committed to try and keep things fair in our marketplace for both our Clients and our Experts. 

As mentioned in The AcCare Process, we have implemented some processes to try and help protect our members: 

For Experts: 

  • Clients pre-pay for the entire job when they accept your offer. We hold it securely in Stripe for you until the process is completed- you’ll never have to worry about getting paid!
  • There is a full breakdown of costs when you submit your offer so there are no surprises (including our commissions and your final renumeration), 
  • Clients have 72 hours to raise issues (e.g. missing documents) from the time you click “My Work is Done!”. 
  • The funds are automatically released if no issues are raised. 

Please note that AcCare does not release funds until both parties agree that the job has been completed. 

Monetary hold:

We place a hold for 3.5% of the total job cost on your credit card every time you make an offer. 

This is automatically refunded: 

  • If you acknowledge the accepted offer within 48 hours of it being accepted by the client. 
  • If your offer doesn’t get accepted by the client. 

AcCare incurs processing fees every time clients pre-pay for jobs to ensure that our Experts are paid for their work. 

The 3.5% fee will not be refunded if you do not acknowledge the task within the 48 hours after the offer acceptance, to cover AcCare’s administrative costs.

We ask all Experts to consider all aspects carefully before making any offers.
