AcCare is a marketplace that connects people and firms for accounting related purposes, so we try our best to make things fair for both Clients and Experts.
This is the AcCare process in a nutshell:
The following safeguards have been implemented to ensure fair outcomes for both Clients and Experts:
Clients will be required to pre-pay for tasks when they accept an Expert’s offer. This ensures that Experts will be paid for their work.
- Funds will be returned if the expert does not acknowledge the accepted offers
- Funds will not be released until both parties are satisfied that the task has been completed.
- Clients have 72 hours to raise issues with the final product, after which the payment will be automatically released to the Expert.
Experts will be subject to a temporary hold equivalent of 3.5% of the total offer price prior to submitting any offers. This helps ensure that Experts are committed to their offers made.
This hold can be done by credit card at no cost to the expert, and will be released after 7 calendar days when/if:
- The Client accepts the offer, AND the Expert acknowledges the accepted offer within 48 hours.
- The Client does not accept the offer, in which case the hold is automatically released.
The monetary hold will be retained by AcCare as an administrative fee if the expert does not acknowledge the accepted offer within 48 hours.
